This is the story of a completely ordinary male student — nothing more than a side character — who critically observes the protagonist of a love comedy. That protagonist is loved by various gorgeous girls and is constantly surrounded by a harem.

It is the tale of a boy who advocates rationalism. He confronts people from various circumstances, learns from them, mocks himself, suffers, faces his own heart, and gradually grows.

※The protagonist views everyone critically, so his personality is quite bad. The love comedy elements basically follow the standard royal road.

It is a hybrid of love comedy and literary elements (or at least that's the intention). A work that aims to combine the strengths of pure literature and love comedy.

T/N: Big warning, this turns quite dark really really slowly, it showcases a lot of realistic depictions of real life like bullying and such and the way the mc handles it goes beyond "self-sacrifice", but its a fun read in my opinion because you can learn a lot from his words that don't sugarcoat anything
